Alexandra Headlands Before and After
When purchasing an older house with a kitchen that needs an "upgrade" one can always dream of getting the chance to renovate one day! For this lovely couple in Alexandra Headlands on the Sunshine Coast the dream of renovating their kitchen came true. The kitchen design stayed fairly similar as you can see by the before and after images. The purpose of this renovation was to give the kitchen a bright, fresh and open feel - after all the kitchen is the heart of the home.
This kitchen beholds more functionality than the eye can see. This kitchen was equipped with high quality Blum Hardware that not only helps create a more functional kitchen but one that you will continue to enjoy using day after day.
By swapping the dark marbled splashback to a "Mushroom" coloured glass splashback it provided the kitchen with a splash of colour which also incorporated well with their floor tiles.
Replacing the old black marbled bench top with a 40mm Essastone "New Crystal Salt" it incorporated well with the "white" 2pac gloss cabinetry and allowed the splashback to be the feature of the kitchen. LED "cool white" downlights under the overheads also helps with in some light when cooking or preparing food later on in the evening or on those cloudy days.
