Want to know what's hot in the world of kitchen design in 2019? We've got you covered!

When working with our clients to design their dream kitchen we like to incorporate the latest in design trends while also taking care to create a beautiful space that will stand the test of time without looking dated in a couple of years time.

With that in mind, here are some of the latest trends that have our tick of approval.
Dark Kitchens

Black is still well and truly in along with other dark shades such as deep grey, green and navy. These rich, moody colours really create an elegant feel, especially when paired with some lovely warm tones like timber or splashes of gold. If going all-dark is a bit much and you'd rather just dip your toes in the water of this trend then dark cabinets with a lighter top or vice versa also look fabulous.

Stone Benchtops & Splashback

Extending the stone benchtop up the wall as a splashback provides a seamless finish that's durable and easy to clean. Not to mention it looks beautiful and timeless too.

Mixed Metals

Who says you have to choose the same colour or finish for all of your appliances and hardware? Break the rules and mix up your silver, golds, or coppers. This look works surprisingly well, resulting in a stylish and eclectic look.

Timber

To be honest timber is pretty much always on trend; the colours and finishes have been through their fair share of changes over the years but wood has always been around. Many people love the natural feel that timber grains give off; a nod to our Australian outdoor lifestyle. The best bit is that timber grain products like laminate, melamine and veneers are getting seriously beautiful making the timber look an affordable and accessible option for all.
