Theraband

Theraband is elasticized band which provides resistance to movements. The band can be used to promote strengthening and stability for a range of body parts and is used in a wide range of rehabilitation programmes.

Thereband can be used for upper body, lower limb and core retraining.  The resistance of the band means your muscles work harder than with normal un-resisted movements and this aids with muscle activation, muscle development and joint stability.

We stock a wide range of thicknesses and colours. Each colour has a graded resistance.  We recommend that you book in for a physiotherapy assessment before commencing a Theraband program. One of our physiotherapists will provide you with a tailored program to suit your injury and level of strength.
